MATERIAL 
Cell Structure: Casing of our air handling units is manufactured from natural anodized aluminium profile. Section panels have 50 mm thickness, outer wall is manufactured from pre-painted galvanized steel sheet and interior wall is from galvanized steel sheet. BKS Air handling units are indispensable for central ventilation applications with their panels that filled with 70 kg/m³ dense rockwool which provides energy conservation and high efficiency, with their modern carcass structure and with their statically and dynamically balanced, quiet and efficient double inlet centrifugal or plug fans.
 
Fan: In the ventilator and aspirator cells of our air handling units, power transmission between double inlet centrifugal fan and electric motor kit is made through belt and pulley mechanism. Thanks to this system; by adjusting desired fan speed, optimum flow rate and pressure adjustments can be made.
In plug fan applications the motor shaft is connected directly to fan hub withou any interconnections. The engine speed is equal to fan speed. By using frequency inverter, precise speed settings hence flow rate/pressure adjustments can be made.
Standard electric motors that we use have 380V 50Hz values.
 
Coils: While climatizing an environment with air handling units, for cooling chilled water and direct expansion (DX) coils and for heating steam and electrical coils are being used. The highest desired efficiency is provided in all types of devices by selecting air velocity at the coils between 2 and 3,2 m/s which is calculated considering the characteristics of the environment that is going to be climatized and the weather conditions of the city. Coil pan is manufactured from stainless steel sheet and the base of the pan is isolated to prevent condensation.
                                                                                                                                      
Drift Eliminator: Drift eliminators are made of polypropylene or aluminium material with wear-resistant and sterile structure.
 
Heat Exchanger: Heat recovery units that are used in cross flow plate systems are typically formed from aluminium plate. Exhaust and fresh air passes through separate sections without mixing up and provides heat flow.
In rotary type heat exchanger systems, the rotating cylinder is filled with breatheable materials that have very large internal surface. Exhaust air passes through hal of the cylinder and fresh air passes through the other half. In this layout there is mixture of fresh and exhaust air happens a little bit. Usually exhaust aspirator is positioned at the outlet to prevent this mixture. With rotary type systems sensible and total recovery is provided.
           
Filter: Filtering process in air handling units starts with rough filters (EU3 or EU4). Sliding system is usedfor these filters because they have to be chanced frequently and they filter rough grains. The air passed through this phase, enters into the second phase in filter section. Air is subjected to filtration by two rows of filters in this section. By making the selection of filter types according to environmental conditions where air handling is going to be used, fresh air conditioning is provided. These filters may change between EU4 to EU7. Besides these filters, BKS air handling unit’s structure allow compact or bag filters to be used in filtration. In this filter section, air has its last filtration stage, because of that filter casings in this section have been sealed with gasket and they have a special mounting system. This impermeable filter casings also provide easy replacement of filters.
 
Humidification: In BKS air handling units, when humidification demanded, we use electrode boiler steam humidifiers and humidification pads because of their comfort and efficiency values.
For ease of installation and application each functioning cell of BKS air handling unit is manufactured seperately.As result of this, there is a wide variety of section formation and so in the end you will have the product which fits for your purpose. These products are classified under three main groups according to operating principles of devices.

USAGE
We can list the most required basic features of air handling units as; working with high efficiency and climatization with less energy consumption, air tightness, having a construction that would minimize thermal bridges and that is not vibrating by dynamic forces, ease of installation, maintenance and transportation. In BSK series air handling units designs and selections are made by given priority to operating costs and efficiency. To provide and support these priorities in our devices we use energy-saving fans, efficient heat recovery exchangers and coils and we design interior structure of air handling units to provide optimum air flow. Higher levels of efficiency can be achieved by using our optional automation systems.
